My Personal Contract With America

As a candidate for the Office of President of the United States and as citizens seeking to enjoin to support that candidacy we propose not just to change the  policies of our federal government, but even more important, to restore the bonds of trust between the people and their elected government.  That is why, in this era of official evasion and corruption, I offer instead a detailed agenda for national reconciliation, with a written joint commitment to return our republic back to the democratic principles of our founding fathers.

The coming mid-term and term elections offer the opportunity, after decades of non accountability, to bring both Houses of Congress that will reform the way Congress works. That change would be the end of out of control spending, intrusive regulations into personal responsibility and big government. From this day forward the Legislative and the Executive Branches of Government will act based on the will of the people, accountable for the monies and wealth of our national treasury, and respect for the individual liberties and freedoms granted by The Constitution of the United States of America.

“Like Lincoln, our first Republican president, we intend to act with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right." To restore accountability to all branches of our federal government. “To end its cycle of scandal and disgrace. To make us all proud again of the way free people govern themselves.”

On the first day of my Presidency I will immediately begin working with Congress to pass the following major reforms or by executive order, laws and policies aimed at restoring the faith and trust of the American people in their government:

  • FIRST,  no laws shall be passed that do not apply equally to both the government and the citizenry;

  • SECOND, that all executive orders previously executed will be rescinded that establishes polices and mandates that induces unnecessary spending not previously passed through Congress;

  • THIRD, work with Congress to pass legislation to eliminate the position of Czars; and, likewise through confirmation of the Senate appoint Special Advisors to pre-selected positions in the Executive Branch of government.

  • FOURTH, rescind or free all spending of treasury money associated with previous financial bailouts or stimulus that have not already been executed;

  • FIFTH, rescind executive orders that have previously banned off shore drilling and drilling in other designated lands; likewise, work with congress to repeal similar laws passed in previous administrations.

  • SIXTH, rescind all executive orders that have placed government control over the financial, insurance and automotive industries.  Additionally, restore these entities to full faith and control to the private commercial sector.

  • SEVENTH, require the United States Attorney General to investigate and pursue any and all criminal wrongdoing of government officials.

  • EIGHTH, work with Congress to pass legislation limiting both the exposure and financial pressure of special interest groups and lobbyist.

  • NINTH, work with Congress to pass sweeping reform of campaign contributions and limiting the amount of contributions to ensure fair and impartial elections.

  • TENTH, work in a bipartisan effort to bring health care costs under control, reduce malpractice awards, obtainable insurance across interstate lines and the ability of every legal citizen to obtain insurance or other form of health care coverage.  Such reform will not include coverage for abortion, death with dignity or illegal aliens.

  • ELEVENTH, ensure all legislation brought to the desk of the President be posted on a website and accessible for all to read and comment prior to passage or veto, cases involving immediate national security or emergency excepted.

  • TWELFTH, no bill will be enacted into law that does not have zero deficit funding, except in cases of national security or emergency.

I hereby pledge with the consent of the American public that as President I will act responsibly, ethically and morally in all endeavors required by the Office of the President of the United States of America.  That I will at all time act to protect the rights, privileges and freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution to the citizenry of the United States of America.

Respecting the judgment of our fellow citizens as I seek their mandate for reform, I hereby pledge my name to this Contract with America.
